Welcome to The Movement Shala. A beautiful traditional Yoga shala in Tallebudgera, where we offer mindful Yoga & Pilates classes.

The Movement Shala classes are designed to help women feel and move in harmony with nature and life’s innate energy. The goal is to bring tranquility, freedom, and awareness to our bodies and mind, along with moving in synch with certain times of the day, planetary alignments and more.

Classes are designed to build strength and flexibility for women of all ages. A consistent and well rounded Yoga & Pilates practice will complement the structures and natural soft physique of a woman’s body, along with helping balance the nervous system and allow you to connect deeply with yourself. This space is extremely special and sacred where women can come together in more ways than just the physical.

  • Classes are structured around the peaks and troughs of how energy works in the body (through Chinese medicine theory) so you can maximise and get the most out of your practices. This being the case, energy peaks between 5-7am so the stronger classes are in the morning. The body starts to move into a restorative state around late afternoon early evening, so you can expect the PM classes to be more nurturing and around resetting the nervous system and diffusing the day.

    If you are a busy mum, a woman starting to experience the next stages of life after kids or not keen on gyms or big studios, come and experience our beautiful space and classes.

    From the time you step foot in the Shala, something will shift and change for you. And it will be continuous from here on in.
